The 9th Asian Age Group Champion ships, Tashkent Uzbekistan
On 8th September 2017, the opening ceremony of the 9th Asian Age Group Championships took place in Tashkent City, Uzbekistan. More than 1000 delegates and participants from 30 Asian National Federations were present.
This event was graciously attended by the AASF Secretary General and FINA Bureau Member, Mr. Taha Sulaiman Al Kihsry and Mr. Kurbanov Rustam, Chairman of the Committee of Physical Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with other AASF Bureau Members and local officials.
As of 11 September, 21 new records for the swimming events was made (10 men. 9 women, 2 men).
