Asia Swimming Federation (AASF) in cooperation with Japan Masters Swimming Association and Japan Swimming Federation will be hosting the very 1st Asian Masters Swimming Championships from 12-16 July 2018 in Nagoya, Japan. A total of 5,385 swimmers from 11 Asian National Federations including Japan have registered for this auspicious milestone.
On 27 May 2018, Mr. Taha Al Kishry, AASF Secretary-General, together with Mr. Shigehiro Takahashi, Chairman of AASF Technical Masters Committee, and the officials from JMSA/JSF attended the official press conference for this event.
The FINA Masters Rules (2018-2021) will be applied to all competitions, except the addition of age group (18-24 years).
This is one of AASF’s undertakings in supporting and promoting aquatics in Asia.
